Mahindra Racing completed two days of track testing with its season two powertrain earlier this week.
The news was revealed today by the team in a press statement. Bruno Senna was the man in the hotseat and Surrey’s Dunsfold Park was the venue. All season two constructors have a fifth car that is virtually identical to their racing cars, but which is set aside specifically for testing.
Team principal Dilbagh Gill was at the test. He said: “It was a very proud moment for the entire Mahindra Racing Formula E team. This is the culmination of all the hard work and determination of the team. It was very exciting to see Bruno on track and in our second generation Formula E car. The two days of dry testing gave us the perfect opportunity to test the car and obtain even more valuable information as we look ahead to the second season of the innovative Formula E series.”
