Felix Rosenqvsit bagged the fastest time of the final free practice session of the season, beating championship contender Sebastien Buemi to the top of the timesheets in Montreal on Sunday morning.

Rosenqvist turned in a fastest lap time of 1:21.183 to finish just over one-tenth of a second clear of title contender Sebastien Buemi in final practice, the Swiss driver bouncing back after losing his points lead on Saturday.

Title favourite Lucas di Grassi finished the session ninth-fastest, six-tenths slower than Buemi’s time, but will be targeting an improvement come qualifying later in the day.

The gamesmanship we saw on Saturday continued in FP4 as Nicolas Prost and Daniel Abt nearly clashed on-track with a brake test, acting as another needle between the title-fighting teams.

DS Virgin Racing took P3 and P4 in final practice with Jose Maria Lopez and Sam Bird, while Loic Duval rounded out the top five for Dragon. Abt finished sixth-fastest ahead of Oliver Turvey and Jean-Eric Vergne, while Prost completed the top 10 behind di Grassi.
