Three cities replaced as Formula E calendar revealed

Formula E promoter FEH today revealed the inaugural 2014-15 race calendar. The first race will be held on 20 September 2014 in Beijing. London has been moved to the back of the field while three cities have been replaced: Rome, Rio de Janeiro and Bangkok make way for Monaco, Hong Kong and Punta del Este.

The race calendar is as follows (each location subject to FIA homologation):

Alejandro Agag, chief executive at FEH, commented: “Since launching the championship last year we have received formal offers from more than 25 cities all over the world, making choosing just 10 very difficult indeed. We will now focus on finalising the design of each of the circuits as well as working closely with all our partners to ensure we deliver each of these events in the most sustainable way possible.”
