Current E is the leading specialist media source covering the FIA Formula E all-electric racing series.

Established in March 2013, we’ve charted the development of the electric motorsport since the beginning, building up a comprehensive library of Formula E news, features and live trackside coverage. We’ve had a team at every day of public preseason testing and every single race.

We also operate a photographic and creative agency.

Here’s the team behind Current E.

Ross Ringham, editor
Ross is well used to translating technical subjects into understandable stories with strong human interest, with a CV that includes a stint producing flagship global publications for £1.2bn engineering consultancy Mott MacDonald. He has been chronicling the Formula E journey since early 2013.

Craig Scarborough, technical editor
Technical journalist, illustrator and broadcaster Craig, better known as Scarbs, has been explaining the intricacies of motorsports for more than 15 years. From F1, WEC and Formula E to MotoGP motorbikes, Scarbs helps simplify complex subjects for tech-loving audiences.

Shivraj Gohil, head of  photography
Known for his artistic style, Shiv has quickly become recognised as the leading Formula E photographer, racking up an impressive library of iconic shots while following the sport across the globe.

Dan Bathie, photographer and designer
With his camera at the ready, Dan has covered many motorsports series across the globe, including single seaters, sports cars, endurance and rallying. As a graphic designer, he has produced magazine, posters, reports, infographics and even race car liveries.

Marta Rovatti Studihrad, photographer
A fashion photographer and co-founder of a lingerie brand, Marta joined the Current E team for the start of Formula E’s second season. As well as trackside and pitlane photographer, Marta covers the VIP eMotion club for Formula E, as well as evening events such as the sport’s gala dinner and afterparties.
